I am tempted to believe that for some supporters of some aspiring presidential candidates, the only way for their aspirants to get into the minds and hearts of the delegates is to concoct stories about the Vice President and propagate same with ferocious alacrity 

The success of their aspirants is undergirded by the lies they peddle against Vice Mahamudu Bawumia. I cannot, for the life of me, understand how some people can produce a document detailing some proposed financial support to some members of the famous Bawumia Must Win group.

This is being done just to cause disaffection amongst delegates against the Vice President and to malign the leadership of BMW. Their agenda is dead on arrival. 

The Vice President is yet to launch his campaign let alone commence touring the various constituencies to sell his messages to the delegates and people are going to great lengths just to vilify him and groups associated with him! 

Clearly, some of these people cannot sit down and generate potent campaign messages for the aspiring candidates they support, hence these crude and Machiavellian rhetoric and tactics. 

Vice President Bawumia is unfazed by these scores of attacks from such elements. He understands the fact that he is the strongest amongst the contestants and the one who is feared by them. 

Much as we have no intentions to go the lines of these people, we shall also not allow such lies to be peddled against the Vice President or groups voluntarily campaigning for him. 

Our main focus is on the presidential elections which we believe with Vice President Bawumia, we shall break the 8-year cycle of our political system. Such distractions would not be our main focus but we shall also not keep silent when these lies come up.

The delegates know best. They know that the party’s surest ticket to winning the 2024 elections is none other than Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. It is worth reiterating this point; Bawumia has become a nightmare to the opposition party. He will be declared President in the 2024 elections.
