This response is needless and unrelated to the main issues raised by Veep. The issue is about the roles played by people in defending the party in the 2013 Elections Petition.  The election petition case covered gathering of evidence, analysing of the same, meetings with lawyers, rehearsing for court, finding credible witnesses to make statements and  defending the same. These were done voluntarily. That is what Dr Bawumia is referring to. That is exactly what he did. Equally, it is what he challenges you and others against. You could've explained what role you played in all these sequences of events. 

In court, the judges decide a case based on evidence and facts. Witness statements, statements of case, etc are all evidence. You claimed you were a witness in the strong room of the EC. You cited being a witness to a supposed 48 hour halt. What stopped you from giving a witness statement to that effect? Significantly, when plaintiffs submit their evidence, they are required by the laws of civil procedure to give oral evidence in their witness statements for the court to attach weight to it. You didn't do either of these, yet you are bold enough to describe the claims of Dr Bawumia as a lie? Wow! Alan is a lawyer, yet he never helped the NPP with his time or legal mind. You were a witness, yet you never gave a witness statement. What then is a lie about what the Veep said? 

It must be pointed out that you misunderstood the issues raised by Veep. And to describe such a particular issue captured well by Veep as a lie, exposes your long dislike for him. You have, since 2008, held a strong dislike for Veep. This is captured in Dr Arthur Kennedy's "Chasing the Elephant into the Bush." However, what is certain is that, In sha Allah, Dr Bawumia will lead the NPP. How you are able to make amends with him, subsequently, is another issue. But, like we all know, Dr Bawumia is not a vindictive person.
