GNPC Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation is humbled, honoured and privileged to have received the 2024 Ghana Business & Innovation Awards’ CSR and Corporate Social Investment Company of the Year Accolade. The award recognises the body corporates remarkable contributions towards improving the quality of life of the people of Ghana and a demonstrated commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth, positively impacting communities and empowering the youth.

The gong was presented to GNPC on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

Commenting on the award, the Executive Director of GNPC Foundation, Dr Dominic Kwesi Eduah stated that the gong is a testament of the impact we create in the lives of individuals and communities through the provision of social intervention programmes suchlike the construction of classroom blocks, science laboratories, dormitories, sick bays, astro turfs, sanitary facilities, boreholes, offering local and foreign scholarships, training artisans and providing them with start up tools to begin their entrepreneural journey, among others. 

Dr Eduah stated further that GNPC will continue to use a significant portion of its share of the oil revenue to invest in the lives of Ghanaians.
