The Mayor of Tamale who doubles as  the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Tamale Central constituency Hon Salifu Sule  was at the Tamale Central Mosque as part of his itinerary to tour selected Mosques in the Tamale  Metropolitan Area this Holy month of Ramadan. 

Mayor Salifu Sule used the occasion to thank the clerics at the Tamale Central Mosque for their peaceful preaching, which has gone a long way to consolidate the peace in Tamale. 

He called for continuous collaboration between religious bodies and the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly for peace, stability, and accelerated development
