The Chairman of the Tamale North constituency Disciplinary Committee of the NPP, Chairman Adam Yussif has told the Voiceless Media in an interview that no petition has been received against the constituency chairman,  Alhaji Mohammed Sadat Fuseini aka Chairman Short as of the 29th January,  2025 by his committee. 

According to Chairman Adam Yussif, they only heard the allegations and suspension of the constituency chairman in the news. 

Mr Adam Yussif, who was once the  chairman of the NPP in the Tamale North constituency, described the behaviour of the Regional Executive Committee as highly disrespectful to the Disciplinary Committee of the NPP in Tamale North. 

According to Chairman Adam  Yussif,  the fact that the constituency Disciplinary Committee of the party did not receive any petition,  nor hold any hearing on discipline meant that some people just held a meeting somewhere and perpetuated an illegality. 

The Tamale North Constituency Disciplinary Committee Chairman has, therefore, intimidated that the right procedures must be followed if the current alleged suspension of Chairman Short is to be deemed lawful. 

Chairman Adam Yussif used the opportunity to appeal to members of the NPP in the Tamale North constituency to remain calm and not do anything untoward as the matter undergoes appropriate resolution.
