The national youth wing of the NPP throws its full weight behind the comments of Agric minister, Hon, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, We fully and wholeheartedly associate with the comments made by the minister and MP for the Abetifi Constituency with our hearts, soul, and spirit.

Indeed, we find the comments deeply motivating and proudly inspiring and believe that this is the way to go and other party stalwarts should emulate same. It must be made clear to the NDC that they don't own any monopoly over buffoonery in this country and that when it comes to the matter of the next elections in 2024, we are extremely ready for it with our horses and chariots.

Indeed, we have the men. We are not a party predisposed to violence, but we have what it takes to contain it when it is served to us. We will campaign very hard by telling the NPP story, the track record of the government led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. We believe our track record is superior to that of the NDC, and based on that, on the balance of any scale, the Ghanaian people will vote for the NPP. Our supreme belief in the fact that we will win the next elections is based absolutely on the comparative records of the two parties.

We vehemently reject the claim that the minister's comments are reckless. Indeed, the NDC and its goons have made more reckless statements than anyone in this country, including but not limited to their presumptive Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama. He fumed and told all of us that 'the NDC has a revolutionary background, and when it comes to unleashing violence, no one can beat them'. The same John Mahama said,'The 2024 election is a do-or-die affair.'Their national organiser, Joseph Yamin, also said that the 2024 elections for them is war. There are plethora of other statements in the same fashion. If there is any caution, it should go to the NDC.

The youth of the NPP will be prepared and waiting. We will not draw 'first blood' but will respond forcefully, brutally and appropriately when the need arises. We are men and women of grit and valour, and when our resolve is tested, we will rise to the occasion.

A word to the wise...
