When your campaign message is uninspiring, you resort to mind game theatrics just to sustain your support base. This is the case of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). 

Right from the word go, the message of the NDC never inspired Ghanaians. The 24 Hour Economy proposed by the NDC has become an albatross around it's neck. The more they explain it to Ghanaians, the more mockery they make of themselves. From rearing of lions for export, 24hr night club services, cashing of a cheque of Ghs200 at 2:00am at a time mobile money interoperability is in full force to among other weird and nauseating comments. 

What do we expect the NDC to do when the New Patriotic Party (NPP), led by H. E. Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is providing Ghanaians with bold solutions for the future of Ghana. They will definitely resort to mind game politics to hoodwink their unsuspecting supporters. 

The NDC came out with their fictitious agyapadie document that could not stand the test of time. A document that is purported to have been written down long ago and was only being implemented contains articles of people and news headlines. They failed in their attempt to mind-game Ghanaians with that document. 

When one plan fails, they look for another just to remain relevant in the media space and to continue deceiving their supporters. They shifted their mind game politics to the Electoral Commission (EC). They claimed the electoral register was having infractions and went ahead to demonstrate across the country against the EC, demanding forensic audit of the register. 

Interestingly, when the EC gave the NDC opportunity to prove their allegations with public broadcast of the engagement, they as usual embarrassed themselves as they failed to provide any evidence of infractions in the voters' register and they suddenly abandoned their demand for forensic audit of the register. That is NDC for you. 

There came the NDC 24 Hour Majority in parliament. Remember, the main purpose of the mind game politics is for the attention of the party supporters and the general public because the resetting is not resetting. Instead of them to intensify their campaigns in the constituencies to win more seats in the next parliament, they are rather looking for majority in the current parliament which is less than three  months to resolve. 

Per the alleged leaked WhatsApp chats of the '24 Hour NDC Majority' Caucus, it is just clear that the aim is to do propaganda with the minds of Ghanaians but Ghanaians mean business. Ghanaians have read their mind game theatrics long ago. Ghanaians are looking for better solutions not this empty and scary theatrics. 

Dr. Bawumia and the NPP are not taking Ghanaians for granted, hence, the intensive and coordinated campaigns adopted by them. The NPP are out there, propagating the achievements of the Nana-Bawumia government and the bold solutions for the future of Ghana while NDC are playing political mind game in the media, parliament and on the streets.
