Dr George Akufo Dampare ( IGP) had these words to say about Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and his government. Indeed No government since independence has done these for the police service according to the IGP who is known as the people’s IGP and the best IGP Ghana Has ever had. 

These are the words of the Most competent IGP in our history as a nation. 

1. We were all mesmerized by what you have done for the police service when we went around these facilities today 

2. ⁠what you have done for the police service is historic 

3. ⁠the volume of logistics including vehicles and over 4000 motorcycles spread across the length and breadth of the country is historic 

4. ⁠you have brought policing to the doorsteps of the people and it has affected the dynamics of crimes making Ghana one of the most peaceful countries in the world

5. ⁠beyond the traditional units we have, through your initiative and leadership, we have been able to establish 181 regional form police units averaging 35 police officers each with vehicles and motorbikes dotted in a network fashion across the country

6. ⁠where communities who have never seen policing, roads where armed robbers were disturbing have all been covered and we are working in unison with other security agencies 

7. ⁠we can say that, Ghana is at peace when it comes to security.

8. ⁠Mr president, this is all because of you

9. ⁠under your watch, police professionalism has happened with discipline 

10. ⁠Mr president, your legacy 

11. ⁠under welfare, you have established the Police Emergency medical intervention fund

12. ⁠under this fund with your authority, every Police Person regardless of rank is given the best of medical care within or outside Ghana within the shortest possible time when it is work related 

13. ⁠so far, 20 of our personnel have received such treatments within and outside the country and have returned to us 

14. ⁠because of time, the last one has to do with with your legacy of housing, “What a wow”

15. ⁠the first one is the 312 housing facility you built for us at Dome Kwabenya 

16. ⁠There is the second phase which is ongoing there  

17. ⁠this one too here at Tesano is being commissioned 

18. ⁠this is historic and we would be forever grateful 

19. ⁠we are in shock at the quality of building and furniture including everything that comes with equipment these housing facilities 

20. ⁠Mr President, it is no longer about us anymore, it is about our Wives and children too and so we want to say a very big thank you for taking care of the service in this historic Manner 

Finally, Mr President for what you have done for us we are so grateful that we will leave no stone unturned to enforce law and other especially in the upcoming elections. We are committed to the safety and secusecurity of this country under your leadership.
