Matthew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known in Ghanaians politics as NAPO, will play an important role in strengthening Dr. Bawumia's bid for the December 2024 elections. His invaluable contributions, expertise, and unwavering dedication within the Education and Energy Ministries are paramount in ensuring massive victory for the team. IMPLEMENTATION OF FREE SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (SHS) AND MITIGATION OF DUMSOR

 Overcoming staunch opposition from the National Democratic Congress and some section of Ghanaians in the implementation of Free Senior High School policy and also his meticulous leadership at the Energy Ministry establish him as a vital asset to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign. Prior to the appointment of Dr. Opoku Prempeh as the Minister of Energy, the energy was bedevilled with so many challenges including mismanagement of the NDC's government led by John Mahama which left so much debt at the ministry. NAPO 's  prudent leadership of NAPO today has eroded all those challenges making the power sector robust eliminating Dumsor to it barest minimum.

Arguably, the party will enter the December elections with the implementation of Free Senior High School and adept management of the energy sector as their trump cards, and the most fitting individual to elaborate on these achievements is Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.

Fortuitously, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh stands on par with Prof. Jane Nana Opoku Agyeman, whose tenure at the Education Ministry under John Mahama saw a series of advertisements against the Free Senior High School Education policy coupled with series of cancellations of government initiatives in the education space.

 Presently, nearly five million children have reaped the benefits of free Senior High School Education, with many of them reaching voting age by the December polls. It is highly probable that they, along with their parents, will express their gratitude to Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh by casting their votes for the Bawumia/NAPO ticket.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh's connection to Manhyia will unite chiefs and Queen Mothers from the Ashanti region to work massively in support of the elephant party, boosting its chances for victory. Akans and for that matter Ashantis cherish their culture and traditions more than their religion and will not hesitate to vote to the direction of what their traditional authorities tell them. They hold their Chiefs and Queen Mother's in a very high esteem even more than their Pastors and  Political leaders.
