I can confidently say without any fear that, election 2024 is going to be the most easiest election for the New Patriotic Party. The fear of most people including even high profile party members and leaders is the current state of our economy especially with the unstable exchange rate and raising cost of living and so on. 

However, I strongly beg to defer as I have always maintained that for the first time in the history of this country's elections the Current Economy situation will not be a major issue for consideration. Even if it will it will not cross 10% of the total consideration.

This year's election will be base on two major issues;

1. The Personality of the candidate and their track records.

2. The performance of the Political party ie. The NDC and NPP.

On the issue of personalities and their track records will have John Mahama who have been so fortunate to have gone through the political mill , from Assembly Member, to Minister, to Vice President and to the ultimate the President. Unfortunately for John Mahama who has had everything in Politics has so far only  attracted negative attributes to his personality. 

Issues of Corruption and incompetence are the two major  attributions to his personality.  

Again, talking off track records John Mahama has no serious household name memory as compared to Dr Bawumia of course apart from his Guinea Fowl (AKOMFEM), Bus branding, the sale of Ghana's Bauxite to his brother and so many negative issues which have left some footprints in the homes of Ghanaians, there are no other significant good memories of John Mahama in our homes.

On the contrary, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's personality and track records are household name even in his capacity as the driver's mate.  Dr. Bawumia is known by the average Ghanaian as Humbly, intelligent, Honest, innovative, tolerant, Patient, Respectful, Visionary as so on. 

On the issue of track records. The household memories of Dr. Bawumia in our homes are as follows  ;

1. Medical Drone delivery Service, anytime one sees a drone flying they name that comes to their mind is Dr. Bawumia 

2. Ghana Card implementation, anytime they assess any service with their Ghana card it is Dr. Bawumia they praise.

3. Mobile Money Interoperability, anytime Ghanaians sit in the comfort of their homes to perform financial transactions the name they praise is Dr. Bawumia.

4. Electronic Pharmacy

5. Ghana rental services 

6. The creation of the new regions, people in the newly created regions know that their independence was spearheaded by Dr. Bawumia.

7. Peperless port, Digital address System.

8. One Student One tablet, anytime a free SHS students opens his or her tablet the name that comes to mind is Dr. Bawumia 

9. Gold for Oil and BOG gold purchase initiatives.

9. Digital initiatives deployed in all our government institutions just to mention a few.

These are tangible initiatives which are known to be Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's track records even a five year old child knows that. It is these issues that put Dr. Bawumia's personality and track records at 38.9% ahead of John Mahama. In every aspect of life Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's presence is been felt from Education, to Health to the Economy and to Agriculture. Both Public service and Private Service Dr. Bawumia has his footprints there. 

Furthermore, on the Second issue which is the Political party's Performance, again, the New Patriotic Party stands tall as compared to the National Democratic Congress. 

Free Senior High School initiative alone has the tendency to give the NPP their 12% needed to break the 8. Every single home in the country has directly or indirectly benefited from the initiative. Also on the issue of roads the NPP has contracted more Kilometers of roads than any government in the 4th Republic three times what John Mahama government contracted during his tenure. 

In education, the NPP again stands tall with the introduction of STEM education, free SHS , Distribution of Tablets, and students performance, the NCD comes no where close to the NPP. 

Also, on Sports development and infrastructure the NPP are far ahead of the NDC.  Prior to 2017 the who country could boast of only three Astroturf infrastructure but today as I am typing the country has close to Two Hundred Astroturf infrastructure across the country. On Health, the NPP is incomparable to the NDC as completion of only forty (40) agenda 111 hospitals will outperformed the records of both the Late President Mills and former President Mahama put together. 

When you talk of the security and the Justice System President Akufo Addo has been exceptional.

With all these all what the New Patriotic Party needs is an aggressive strategy to tackle apathy in their strongholds whiles they capitalize on the personality of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to break even in the strongholds of the NDC ie. The Five northern regions and the Zongos.

To end with my piece I will like to propose some Campaign architecture for the party going into the last phase of our campaign;

1. The party should deploy Hon. Kennedy Ohene  Agyapong together with his team  to partner with the Running mate and his team to work in the Ashanti region solely to combat Apathy in the region.

2. The party should deploy Samira Bawumia , the Second Lady extraordinare together with her team to the work in the Zongo Communities.

3. The Party Machinery should be deployed to play free role.

4. The President together with his. team should also be made to play free role but focus more on  Eastern region.

5. The candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia should focus more on the five northern region especially Northern Region and Volta, Oti Region.

If all these strategies are implemented well the party with it's massive performance together with the personality of the Candidate will break the 8 without any difficulty.

Dr. Bawumia says It Is Possible but I say It is a Done Deal if we are to get our strategy right.
