The Ghana Journalists Association, together with its partners, will lift the media blackout on the MP for Yendi this afternoon, according to Voiceless Media sources. 

The blackout was occasioned as a result of a misunderstanding between the Yendi legislator and a media representative from Citi FM during the recent Parliamentary primaries in the Yendi constituency. 

The MP for Yendi, together with the Minister of Information designate and the GJA President,  Mr Albert Dumfour, were seen recently together.

It is believed that the issues were resolved, and Hon Farouk Aliu Mahama apologised to the Citi FM reporter and the media and made a solid case of his good relationship with the media over the years. 

It is expected that the Media blackout on Hon Hawa Koomson by the GJA shall also be lifted today.
