The Communication Wing of the New Patriotic Party in the Walewale Constituency wishes to congratulate our Parliamentary Candidate elect, Dr. Kabiru Tia Mahama on your electoral victory in the just ended parliamentary primaries of our party.

The party in the Constituency wishes you success as you prepare to take up responsibilities and the challenges that await you in this exalted position.

We wish you God's wisdom, grace, bountiful mercies, strength, direction, and guidance to deliver on this huge task.

The election on Saturday was a long process involving significant players and observers. On behalf of the party in the Constituency, may I use this opportunity to commend the maturity and commitment of all the stakeholders for such an incident free electoral process.

To all the delegates who participated in this significant exercise, thank you for deepening our democracy and holding high the flag of our party, truly, the elephant family won.

Permit me to commend the Electoral Commission for providing what many have described as a level playing field for all the candidates, and for conducting a free, fair and transparent election, and upholding the will of the delegates at the end of the polls.

I again will like to commend the security agencies for keeping troublemakers at bay and for ensuring peaceful conduct during the polls. You deserve a tap on your shoulder for such level of professionalism.

Your electoral victory on Saturday was not only a trust and an affirmation by delegates of your stellar leadership qualities, but an endorsement on the able and capable leadership of the younger generation and more importantly, a triumph for democracy, and a precursor to the success awaiting you in the 2024 general election, indeed IT IS POSSIBLE.

A lot especially the Youth, have given testimonies to your unprecedented accomplishments that can only be traced to the ingenuity of your personality and the purposefulness of results-driven leadership.

You contested this election against several qualified party members whom I am confident also has the best interest of NPP at heart, in offering up themselves for service, and I believe they will continue to put the general unity and interest of our party in the Constituency first in all their actions considering the enormity of the task ahead.

On behalf of the party in the Constituency, I sincerely will like to urge you to be magnanimous in your victory celebrations by extending your hands of fellowship to your fellow Contestants.

It's the hope of all of us that, you will regard your election as a mandate to build on the foundations that have already been laid towards improving the lives of the people within the milieu of Walewale by your predecessors.

I want to respectfully remind you on behalf of the rank and file of our party that, you are here to represent the utmost interest of the party. A lot of trust and confidence has been bestowed upon you and we expect that you do not disappoint. Dare to be different Sir.

Again, your victory is a forerunner to the electoral fortunes of our Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamud Bawumia, and as such, we must remain vigilant and anticipate all the antics, from the scourge of mediocrity, wild propaganda, the dying National Democratic Congress (NDC) will come up with in the Constituency. 

If you ever thought you are alone in this battle, be rest assured that, behind you is an army of gallant men and women. YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS. 

The entire party in the Constituency is with you in action, in prayers, in hope and in this great effort to reset the trajectory and story of the party in Walewale, more positively. 

We shall intensify the work to ensure that we uproot all vestiges of false hopes which shall be inspired and fuelled by desperation for power on the part of our opponents. The light has just shone. 

The ship of hope is already at the harbour under the umbrella of the New Patriotic Party. We remain steadfast in our commitment and in our instrumentality, to retain the seat, and are, by your victory, fired up to go into the 2024 general elections to win. No curve, no burn. 

That is the drive and resolve I see from the base of our party after you were announced winner.

May your renowned brilliance not be eclipsed by greed and quest for selfish and personal aggrandizement, as it may be a direct betrayal of the trust and confidence reposed on you by delegates, acting in the supreme interest of the larger party.

Let your word be your bond. From now till December 7th, let there be a positive difference in your leadership, seen and felt across the entire Constituency. The best way to thank the party for this mandate is by giving it your best shot and maintaining the seat for us.

Congratulations once again. Your tenacity, steadfastness and deeply courageous fighting spirit, are highly admirable and truly inspiring.
