One of the reasons the NPP in the Northern Region is deficient in leadership is  because of the struggle for personal power. 

Whilst Chairman Samba is working towards a third term bid, his organiser, Rashid Salifu is also eyeing the chairmanship. 

The First Vice Chairman, Alhaji Sunday is also eyeing the Chairmanship Position. 

 I can confirm that Alhaji Inusah Dagomba Boy will try his luck again when we get to the bridge. 
Because they want to solidify their current positions or get new ones, they are engaged in Shadow Boxing .  

This is the truth and nothing but the  truth about Northern Region NPP. 

We need someone to tell the above party officers that they need to bury their ambitions for now and dedicate their energies to the DMB project. 

If we have leadership in the Northern Region, then they should call them to order.

All the statements and counter statements from a  supposed Concerned NPP Youth from Tamale to Bimbila in the media are traceable to the Regional Chairman ship slot which is still over a year ago but which many are already  campaigning to occupy. 

We need to address these things openly and passionately for the good health of the NPP in the Northern Region.
