Celebrating 25 Years of Excellence at Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS

Yesterday, on November 18, 2023, I had the privilege of stepping back into the hallowed halls of Yaa Asantewaa Girls Senior High School in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital. The occasion was nothing short of exciting, marking the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the illustrious 1998 year group—of which I am a proud member.

As the special guest of honor, the nostalgic waves of memories washed over me, reminding me of the formative years spent within these walls. Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS holds a special place in my heart, and returning for this momentous celebration was an honor beyond words.

What made this event truly remarkable was not just the passage of time but the tangible dedication and generosity exhibited by our 1998 year group. The spirit of giving back resonated throughout the celebration, culminating in the renovation of classroom blocks and washrooms. Witnessing the collective effort and commitment to the school’s advancement filled me with pride.

In my role as a special guest, I felt a deep sense of responsibility to contribute in my own way. A small token of appreciation manifested as a heartfelt gesture aimed at supporting the continuous growth and development of Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS.
