The new patriotic party since it opened nominations for the Presidential race have so far successfully completed the first face of their flagbearer contest with the Vice President pulling over 68% of the super delegates Votes followed by Kennedy Agyapong , Alan kyeremanten and other two candidates. 

 Unfortunately, Alan kyeremanten couldn't fight to the end of the process and have sadly withdrawn from the contest to go independent making it a two horse race between the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong .

After perusing the campaign messages  and the utterances of the top two candidates delegates are now convinced that, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia reminds the party's best foot forward to break the 8. 

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia happens to be the only candidate among the top two candidates who  believes the NPP government has done  enough to break the eight and again he is the only candidate who have shown confidence in projecting and trumpeting the work of the NPP Nana Akufo Addo's government. Above all, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has shown in his campaign tour he is a unifier and a team player.

 In addressing delegates in his campaign tour, Dr. Bawumia has stated that, *Notwithstanding the economic challenges  our government has constructed more infrastructure than any government and many transformation policies have been introduced for the first time in the history of the country including, Ghana card, digital address system, Mobile Money interoperability, medical drone delivery service, one district one factory, planting for food and jobs, zongo development, Agenda 111 , free SHS   2.1 million jobs in six years among others* He  has always stood by the achievements of the government and he confidently projects and defend them on any platform he finds himself both locally and international. While as his opponent are attacking and issuing treats Dr. has always focused on his message to delegates.

Notwithstanding all the achievements Dr. Bawumia has helped the President his boss to attained  he has informed delegates of his personal Vision for Ghana which he in turns to build upon the foundation laid by his boss the President   

*I also have my own Vision for Ghana. I believe it is time to move Ghana to the next level  by building on the foundation we have put in place"* 

Dr. Bawumia has given indications to delegates that,  he as the President with all the powers of the office is going to make Ghana an energy self- sufficient at a reduced cost through solar and other renewable source. 

Again, his presidency will leverage on integrated database of banks, NIA, DVLA, digital address system etc to enable workers buy cars, furniture, home appliances on credit at lower cost.

Also, his presidency will ensure robust  fiscal discipline in the  management of public finances to sustainably and sufficiently reduce lending rate.

Dr. Bawumia as President will enhance Ghana's current strategy of industrialization to introduce new technology like digital manufacturing for manufacturing of spare parts and other equipments.

Dr. Bawumia under his presidency will maximize the benefits of natural resources minerals like Gold and lithium through policies like value addition, setting up LBMA certify Gold refinery and enhance the Gold for oil policy and dedicated concession for Bank of Ghana to enhance their accumulation of their Gold reserve.

Under Dr. Bawumia, there will be deliberate policies on food security through the use of science and data, artificial intelligence and the use of internet of things (IOT) and irrigation to commercial farmers.

The poor , vulnerable,  the sick and the aged will also be prioritize under the vision of Dr Bawumia.

Education under the leadership of Dr Bawumia will focus on the demands of the fourth industrial revolution to include stem, robotics, artificial intelligence and digital and vocational skills.

 *In simple terms, the Vision of Dr. Bawumia is to build Ghana base  on technology, data  and systems for inclusive economic growth.* His vision is to make Ghana the digital hub of Africa.

Dr. Bawumia has a Vision and base on the foundation he has helped his boss the President to lay it is possible to transform Ghana. 

Dear delegates as we count down to 4th November, let us all come together to help actualize the Vision of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the sake of posterity by voting massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
