A former Constituency Chairman of the NPP  of the Yendi Constituency, Alhaji Inusah Dagomba Boy has explained that the Yendi Parliamentary seat will be lost if the current MP, Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama wins the Parliamentary Primaries slated for February, 2024. 

Speaking on a live program on Zaa TV in Tamale yesterday, Alhaji Dagomba Boy who contested for the position of Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP in the last Regional elections,  indicated that the only person who could win the Parliamentary seat easily for the  NPP will be Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama  Zakariah, CEO of the MASLOC. 

According to the former Yendi constituency Chairman, Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah has endeared herself to the electorates of the Yendi Constituency over the years and they were ready to reciprocate her good gestures to them by voting for her any day. It must be stated that Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah nearly won the NPP Parliamentary primaries in the last Parliamentary contest in the Yendi Constituency. 

She was beaten by less than 35 votes by the current Member of Parliament for the Yendi Constituency but has continued her services to the people in full admiration.  Most Political watchers in the Yendi Constituency share the views of Alhaji Inusah Dagomba Boy. 

The Voiceless Media had published recently that Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah could become the first  woman MP of Yendi.  The sentiments of the former Yendi chairman is a validation of what the Voiceless Media has consistently maintained.
