A new Astro Turf facility for Chereponi could harness the untapped energy of the Chereponi Youth.

Instead of acrimonious persuasions, these youths would go to the Astro Turf and compete productively in games and other social activities.

All the assembly funds are being used for security purposes at the expense of developments.

Chereponi needs a recreation center to engage the youth to dispense their  untapped  talent in sports.

Checks in the District Assembly has revealed that, more than half of the District Assembly common fund goes into conflict resolution the central government current and previous government have also spent a lot of resources on the unending conflict in CHEREPONI. 

It is for the above reason  I am adding my voice to the call by stakeholders in CHEREPONI for an astroturf.

Chereponi district has no youth centers that brings the youth together for development the time you see the youth  together is when they are fighting each other . 

I believe investing about  ¢3million in an Astro Turf facility in the district will go a long way to curb the conflict since the conflict is always intensified by the Energetic youth.  Sporting activities have been used globally as an effective tool to promoting Peace, Unity and togetherness.

The astroturf will not only promote Peace ,Unity and togetherness but also will help create  jobs for the energetic youth. , the youth will be employed from their own talents. 

The cost of conflict resolution in CHEREPONI is  far more than the construction of an Astroturf in CHEREPONI in this regard, I am by this write up calling on the government ,  institution  corporate  organization and NGO's  such as GNPC Foundation, Ministry of Sports , Ghana Gas etc to come to the aid of CHEREPONI District by constructing an Astroturf  recreational center for the District.

An Astroturf for chereponi will go a very long way to curtail the the chereponi conflict.
