Hajia Fatahiya Abdul- Aziz has been a member of the NPP since she attained the age of 18.  

She was born into an NPP family and has remained a member of the NPP for years now. 

Her elder sister, Hajia Rahana Abdul- Aziz is the current Northern Regional Women's Organiser of the NPP. 

Hajia Fatahiya is presently  campaigning to represent the NPP in the 2024 Parliamentary elections  in the Savelugu Constituency of Northern Ghana.

She has picked her nomination forms in preparation towards the internal  primaries of the NPP in the Savelugu Constituency.

*Educational  History*

Hajia Fatahiya holds a Master of Science Degree in Supply Chain Management from the Coventry University in the  United Kingdom and also holds a Bsc in Banking and Finance from the University of Professional Studies - Accra

She also holds a Private Secretary certificate from the Government Secretarial School in Accra and also Senior High School Certificate from the Ghana Secondary School Tamale. 

She has to her credit several Professional certificates in the areas of security and close protection from the Ghana Police Training School and South Africa. 

*Work experience*

She is a trained Police officer of the Ghana Police Training School  and has worked as a Police Officer for several years. 

She has further  worked in various roles at the National Security of Ghana and also worked as an Aide to the  then Presidential Candidate of the NPP and now President of Ghana Nana Addo  for 20 years. 

Hajia Fatahiya Abdul- Aziz is currently a Presidential Staffer at the Office of the President at the Jubilee House in Accra. 

*Parliamentary Ambition*.

Fatahiya has told the *Voiceless Media* that having gathered enormous experience and networks,  she intends giving back to her people through asking for their votes to represent them in Parliament. 

She believes that she has what it takes to advocate for  good opportunities for  the people of the Savelugu constituency and is ready to be of service to them. 

Empowerment of women and the youth shall be her preoccupation and she also intend embarking on schemes that will encourage and support farmers in the Savelugu Constituency to make them self sufficient.

It is the intention of Hajia Fatahiya Abdul-Aziz to be the lead and advocate for the development of the Savelugu Constituency in the areas of good drinking water, good roads and good sanitation and she is poised for action. 

The *Voiceless Media* will in the coming days bring more updates on the activities of Hajia Fatahiya from the Savelugu Constituency.
