Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, a flagbearer hopeful and a fourth time running mate and a two term Vice President of the republic of Ghana having toured the 16 regions and all the 275 constituencies has come up with three(3) key delegates centered proposal to help tackle  apathy at the grassroots of the party. These Policy proposals are needs targeted solutions  not  conjectures or populist measures just to appeal to the emotions of delegates.

Topmost of all the proposals is the *Setting up of Welfare desk at all constituencies level and a welfare office at the Presidency* this desk will be man by polling station executives. The desk will be tasked to collate  data on the needs of all delegates in the 275 constituency. The needs of delegates are different at all levels. Delegate A might need Money to set up his business , delegate B may also need scholarships for his niece, nephew or himself also delegate C  may also need a Job in the security services, cocobod, GRA, customs and so on. Putting all these delegates under one umbrella and placing  them under  meager  salary or stipend would fail to address the grassroots problem and will even worsen their plights. 

The  welfare office at the Presidency will be tasked to match delegates to opportunities based on the needs submitted by the welfare desk at their constituency. With this  if the welfare office at the Presidency logs into the portal of Dome kwabenya constituency and finds out that base on the data provided by the welfare desk  about twenty delegates needs jobs in the security services and about ten(10) needs scholarships the welfare office will quickly match those delegates to the opportunities available.  Again, Every month the welfare office logs into the constituency portal to find out how many delegates needs supports for funerals, naming ceremonies , rents and so on. welfare portal will be updated every month . 

Delegates whose rents are due will not have to wait for a meager salary that can not even pay his rent. Also, delegates who are interested in continuing their education will not have to wait till the end of the month for a meager salary that their yet to know the amount. With the welfare policy they will be given scholarships base on what they submit to the welfare desk.

This is a very good news to delegates and must be embraced by all.
