Dr Susana Alo Tia, An expert in Development Communication has told the *Voiceless Media* in an exclusive interview that she will not be contesting the NPP Parliamentary Primaries in the Walewale constituency when nominations are opened by the NPP.
According to Dr Susana Tia, her decision not to contest is based on her commitment to dedicate herself fully to working for Vice President Dr Bawumia's Presidential ambition.
She indicated that her constituents were on her to contest again having previously participated in the last parliamentary primaries in the Walewale constituency but says she won't be contesting this time.
Dr Susana contested with others but came second to the current Member of Parliament for Walewale, Hajia Zuwera Lariba Abudu.
She polled 161 votes in that primary and Hajia Zuwera Lariba Abudu obtained 275 votes to win.
Dr Susana Alo Tia holds an MSc in Communication for Innovation and Development and PhD in Livelihoods (International Development and Applied Economics) from the University of Reading-United Kingdom.
She trained as a teacher in Tamale and taught for 10 years before going into the NGO industry.
Dr Susana Alo Tia worked as National Coordinator for Gender Promotion at the Ghana Institute of Linguistics, Literacy and Bible Translation ( GILLBT) in Ghana before taking up further studies in the United Kingdom.
She currently serves on the Board of the Ghana Free Zones Authority.
