Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Adenta and Madina constituencies defied a ceaseless downpour on Wednesday afternoon to welcome Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to their respective constituencies.

The Vice President has been meeting NPP stakeholders in constituencies in the Greater Accra Region, and Wednesday’s rounds were threatened by the rain after the first visit to the Shai Osudoku Constituency.

However, delegates were unfazed as they defied the rains and turned up in their numbers to welcome Dr. Bawumia.

At Adenta, the delegates arrived in the rains and filled the auditorium to wait for the Vice President as he arrived from Shai Osudoku.

In Madina, Dr. Bawumia arrived when it was raining heavily, and in a massive show of love, the delegates welcomed him in the rains and ushered him into the auditorium.

At both constituencies, Dr. Bawumia shared with party delegates how he has been loyal, committed and worked extremely hard for the party and government, as well as how he has been supportive of the party from the grassroot level to the top.
