The Jakpa Palace, under the auspices of the King and OverLord of the Gonja Kingdom,  has honoured Alhaji Iddrisu Suleimana  ( Professor Kalamonia), the Savannah Regional Chairman of NPP, for his exceptional and profound respect and support to the  cultural values and traditions of the Gonja Kingdom, culminating in his profound reverence to the Chieftancy institutions in the area most especially  His Royal Majesty, Yagbonwura Biikunuto I.  

At this year's Damba Festival at the forecourt of the newly renovated and modernised Palace of theYagbonwura,  the Savannah Regional Chairman of the NPP was among  a few sons and daughters of the Gonja Kingdom to have received such a prestigious award from the Overlord of Gonja. 

Chairman Professor Kalmonia later told the Voiceless Media in an interview that he was elated for the recognition and will continue to conduct himself well, and continue to serve as a role model to the many youth and sons and daughters of the area. 

Chairman Kalmonnia is  one of the very vibrant , innovative, and crative politicians from the North, and he is known for promoting the cultural values of the area. 

The Voiceless Media will  use this opportunity to formally congratulate Chairman Iddrisu Suleimana (Professor Kalmonia) on the recognition from the highest traditional authority in Gonjaland.
