GLICO Life has paid a claim of GHC15,000 to the family of the late military officer, Imoro Sheriff, who was assassinated in Ashaiman. 

Imoro was a policyholder under our GLICO Education Endowment Plan. The payment was made yesterday, 4th April 2023, at a short ceremony held at the Burma Camp, 154 Armour Recce Regiment.

Imoro Sheriff's death is a great loss to our country, and we are saddened by the news. However, we are proud to have fulfilled our commitment to his family by paying the claims in view of his demise. Although his sum assured was GH 11,842.21, GLICO Life, in the spirit of empathy, increased the value to GHC 15,000.00.

This payment is not just about fulfilling our obligation as a company, but it is also a reaffirmation of GLICO Life’s commitment to the Ghanaian people, particularly the military community.
