“When the missionaries arrived, the Africans had the land and the missionaries had the Bible. They taught us how to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had the land and we had the Bible.”

This quote was actually from Jomo Kenyatta, but ever since Arch-bishop Desmond Tutu made a reference of it many assumed he was the original composer.

Around the world, magnificent churches are now like the cemetery, not even on Sundays to worship the creator, Jehovah. The church is now used to give the last respect to the dead throughout Europe.

Lack of employment and to make good use of these empty churches have forced some of these churches to be converted into beautiful bars, strip clubs, restaurants, and library. This sounds strange but you are reading a true fact.

Worshipping God is great, however, if there are already many churches in Ghana to pray and worship God, absolutely, it’s not necessary to build a Cathedral.
